‘Tis the season, but there is something missing in Florida – snow! In order to make up for it we are going to do some traveling and enjoy all that Florida has to offer. We are off to Boca Raton, St. Augustine, and finally St. Petersburg. I know when we share our journey over the next month and a half all my friends from up north are going to be jealous but in Florida you have to do what you can to make our snowless state feel more like the holidays so we travel. Here is a sneak into our Florida Travel for the Holidays:
Boca Raton
We are escaping to the famous and beautiful Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, for an exclusive trip inclusive of gourmet dining, attentive service and unforgettable experiences. We will be enjoying spa treatments at the #1 Spa in the World according to Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. We will also be attending the “Legends of Boca Experience,” a casual yet glamorous invite-only event featuring tennis legend Jimmy Connors. Don’t be surprised if you see some photos of a few Ferraris and Maseratis on my Instagram.
St. Augustine
It’s time to slow it down a bit and really get into the holiday season. It also happens to fall right around my birthday so hubby and I will be cozying up at the Bed and Breakfast, Casa de Suenos just in time to experience the famous Nights of Lights. We will be meandering through museums and experiencing The Tasting Tours Corks and Forks Walking Tour through the city. Our itinerary is so full for this exciting trip that we will have something for everyone.
St. Petersburg
We are closing the year in St. Petersburg at The Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club. It’s going to be the perfect way to end the year and explore a new part of Florida we haven’t been to before. My highlight will be experience all The Vinoy has to offer and losing myself in the Dali Museum, the “must-do” for anyone who visits the area.
So that’s just a glimpse into some of the Florida travel we will be doing during the holidays. Granted there is no snow in our future forecast, but we certainly will do all we can to make it feel like the holiday season with our toes in the sand.
Do you plan on doing any traveling this holiday season?
