Last week we called our local cable company to set up service at our new location and to schedule disconnection at our current location for later this month. Unfortunately they accidentally disconnected our service and it took them over a week to restore it and get the account straightened out. So what does a family of four do without cable for a week? Watch a lot of videos via our iPad2 and the 3M Mobile Projector. A couple times my hubby and I even crawled in our bed with my youngest son and watched Spongebob and other cartoons until we all fell asleep. It was pretty cool snuggling together and watching the BIG SCREEN. It was especially fun for me because the projection was so large and clear I didn’t even have to wear my glasses to see it.
Our original intent for getting the 3M Mobile Projector was to use it for our outdoor movies at the pool. We love lounging in the pool on hot summer nights while we watch movies on our homemade outdoor screen, also know as a white sheet hung on our privacy fence. Watching the movies outdoors reminded me of when I was little when my parents used to bring me to the drive-in.

I did a short video during the day in a room with no covering over the windows, on a beige colored wall, at low/medium volume to give you an idea of the recording clarity and sound. I was really impressed with the power this small, mobile unit packed. It is difficult to find mobile projectors that are small and compact, yet deliver bright and clear images with sufficient sound. The 3M Mobile Projector is perfect to bring to any social occasion because it is super user friendly, portable, and bright. As you can clearly see watching Spongebob was no problem with this machine.

Wow! I just can’t believe it.. is that really so small?! It must be such a great thing! That is really a must-have one for home movies! Much better than a TV!
The only downside I see to this, is that if I turned it on for my kids they would never let me turn it off and want to sit and watch it more than I’d like them too lol. Seriously though looks like a great product and would definitely be something that kids would enjoy.
