Fall in Love with La Madeleine Country French Cafe in Orlando

Out shopping at Florida Mall or Millenia Mall this holiday season and looking for a place to grab a great meal or to enjoy a nice French Press cup of coffee and a piece of Creme Brulee Cheesecake from the bakery? There are two new locations of la Madeleine Country French Cafe in Orlando located near both malls. No more having to eat at the food court and who would want to when they could enjoy this country French cafe?

Before hitting the mall why not stop in for some breakfast? They open at 7am (Florida Mall) or 6:30am (Millenia Mall) and offer everything from a Country French Breakfast ($7.99) featuring two eggs, a Potato Galette, choice of bacon or sausage, and a buttery croissant. However, if you are wanting to have a taste of Paris try the Parisien Eggs Benedict with two poached eggs served on a fresh butter croissant with ham, bacon, and topped with a hollandaise sauce. All the recipes are passed down, authentic French recipes and they make over 70 fresh uniques a day which is unheard of in the restaurant industry.

Although we didn’t sample the breakfast menu we did get to order any of the drinks in the bakery and sample the incredible baked goods as well. My favorite was the Peppermint Mocha and of course, the French Press. If you like coffee and truly appreciate a good cup of joe don’t miss out on their selection, coupled with a fresh croissant or any of their sweets you can’t go wrong.

We did sample a couple of their pasta salads, the Tomato Basil Pesto Pasta Salade featuring bowtie pasta with sun-dried tomato pesto, fresh basil, green onions, tomatoes and Parmesan. It was fresh and delicious and I’m not a huge pasta salad fan so that’s saying something. I do, however, love sun-dried tomatoes and basil. We also sampled the Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta, Chicken la Madeleine topped with wild mushroom sauce (which is OUT OF THIS WORLD), and the Chicken Friand la Madeleine with a flaky puffed pastry shell (also a favorite).
